Last updated: October 2026. This is a translation for your convenience. In case of doubt the German version applies.
1. Scope and provider
These terms and conditions apply to all contracts you conclude with us via the website drillup.io. Your contracting party is:
DrillUp, Luca Buchmann
Wolfsgraben 6
74223 Flein
Germany
Email: support@drillup.io
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. An entrepreneur is anyone acting in the exercise of their trade, business or profession when concluding the contract.
Deviating terms of entrepreneurs apply only if we have expressly agreed to them.
2. Our service
DrillUp is an online library for motion design videos. It has two sections:
- AI Prompts: example videos together with the text (prompt) they were generated from.
- After Effects: finished project files for Adobe After Effects to download.
Access is available in these plans:
- 3-month plan: access to both sections. You can open three new prompts or projects per calendar day. Anything you opened before stays open for you and does not count again.
- Yearly plan: access to both sections without a daily limit.
- Lifetime: one-time payment, access to both sections without a daily limit and without renewal, where this plan is offered. "Lifetime" means for the entire time during which we operate DrillUp (see section 10). It does not mean your lifetime.
We provide digital content only. Nothing is shipped.
Software from other providers that you need to generate or edit the videos (for example an AI tool or Adobe After Effects) is not part of our service. You need your own access with the respective provider.
AI tools return a slightly different result on every run. A video you generate with a prompt will therefore look similar to the example video, but not identical.
We keep developing the library. We may add, revise or remove individual items as long as the overall scope of the library does not become substantially smaller.
Earlier purchases: If you bought lifetime access, single project files or a monthly subscription before the change in October 2026, you keep that service to the extent agreed at the time. These earlier purchases apply to the After Effects section. The AI Prompts section belongs to the new plans.
3. Account
You need an account to use the service. Your details must be correct. The account is for you personally. Keep your password secret and do not pass your access on to others. If you breach these terms, in particular section 8, we may block the account.
4. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of the plans on the website is not yet a binding offer. The contract is concluded as follows:
- You choose a plan and log in or create an account.
- You see the overview "Review your order" with plan, price, term and cancellation conditions. Up to this point you can cancel the process and change your selection at any time.
- By clicking "Order with obligation to pay" you submit a binding offer. You are then forwarded to payment.
- The contract is concluded when the payment was successful and we activate your access. You then receive a confirmation by email.
The contract languages are German and English. We store the data of your order. We send you the confirmation with the contract terms by email. You can view and save these terms on this page at any time.
5. Prices and payment
The prices shown at the time of ordering apply. All prices are final prices and include statutory VAT where applicable. Depending on your location, prices are shown and charged in euros or US dollars.
Payment is processed by the payment service Stripe. The payment methods shown at checkout are available, for example credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
For the 3-month plan and the yearly plan, the price for the first term (three months or one year) is due in advance when the contract is concluded. After the first term, the monthly price shown to you when ordering is collected in advance at the start of each month via the chosen payment method. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until the payment has been made.
6. Term, continuation and cancellation
3-month plan: the first term is three months. Yearly plan: the first term is twelve months.
If you do not cancel by the end of the first term, the contract continues for an indefinite period and is billed monthly at the monthly price shown to you when ordering. The scope of your plan stays the same.
How you can cancel:
- During the first term, at any time to the end of that term. The amount already paid for the first term is not refunded pro rata; you keep your access until it ends.
- After the first term, at any time to the end of the current, already paid month.
You can cancel online via the button "Cancel contracts here" at the bottom of every page, in your account, or by email to support@drillup.io. You receive a confirmation by email immediately. You keep your access until the contract ends.
The right of both parties to terminate for good cause remains unaffected. We may also terminate the contract ordinarily with the same notice periods.
Lifetime is not a subscription. There is no renewal and no further payment.
Upgrade to lifetime: After buying a 3-month plan or yearly plan, you can switch to lifetime within 72 hours. You then pay at most the lifetime price minus the amount you paid for your plan. With this purchase your current subscription ends immediately, with no further payments. The offer applies once per purchase; after the 72 hours the regular lifetime price applies again.
For monthly subscriptions concluded before the change in October 2026: they continue monthly and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the paid month.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. All details are in the cancellation policy.
So that we can activate your access immediately, we ask for your express consent when ordering that we begin performing the contract before the withdrawal period ends. You confirm that you know your right of withdrawal thereby expires once performance begins. You give this consent via a separate box that is not pre-ticked.
8. Rights of use
With a valid plan you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the prompts and project files.
Allowed:
- changing the prompts and project files and creating your own videos with them,
- using these videos privately and commercially, including for advertising and for work for your clients,
- continuing to use videos you created during the term after your plan has ended.
Not allowed:
- passing on, publishing, selling or giving away the prompts or project files themselves, even in modified form,
- offering them in your own collection, shop or similar offer,
- sharing your account with others,
- reading out or downloading the library by automated means.
All rights to the example videos, texts and project files remain with us.
9. Rights in case of defects
The statutory rights apply, for consumers in particular the provisions on contracts for digital products (sections 327 et seq. of the German Civil Code). If something does not work, write to support@drillup.io and we will take care of it.
10. Availability
We strive to keep the library available without interruption. Short outages due to maintenance or technical faults cannot be ruled out completely.
Lifetime and discontinuation of the service: Lifetime access applies for the entire time during which we operate DrillUp. We may discontinue DrillUp as a whole, for example if we give up the business. We will announce this to you by email at least three months in advance. Until then you can use and download all content as usual. Anything you downloaded may still be used afterwards within the limits of section 8. Lifetime access ends when the service ends. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded by contract remain unaffected.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and to the extent we have given a guarantee.
In the case of slight negligence we are liable only if we breached an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case liability is limited to the damage that was typically foreseeable when the contract was concluded.
Otherwise liability is excluded. We do not promise any particular success of your videos, for example reach, views or revenue.
12. Dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
13. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country remain applicable.
If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, Stuttgart is the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract.
Should a provision of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
